Telecommunication Infrastructure for CSKA Arena

CSKA Arena for 30,000 seats — is a unique modern sports facility that satisfies the standards of FIFA and UEFA. The stadium holds a world-class events, and moreover, the stadium will be used as a training ground during the 2018 World Cup. When choosing among IT solutions, the customer primarily was guided by the criteria of reliability, fault tolerance, ease of management and cost-effectiveness. The entire IT infrastructure of the stadium, including the PBX system, LAN and Wi-Fi is built by BELTEL company.

LAN of the stadium, built on the Avaya SDN-Fx architecture, creates conditions for the wired and wireless Internet access for employees, tenants and visitors of the stadium. Besides that it also provides operation of IP-telephony and serves as a backbone network for all major engineering stadium systems: CCTV, access control, voice alarm, integrated security system, master clock system, parking payment system, constructions monitoring system, video and IPTV imaging systems.

As the stadium PBX, the Avaya Communication Manager R6 platform has been selected. It is a single solution for traditional analog, digital and IP-based devices in communication environment.
