Mobile Inspection Halls and Checkrooms for VTB Ice palace

The largest in Russia ice palace as large as 70,300 square meters includes 3 arenas: large arena for 12,000 seats, small arena for 3,500 seats, and training arena for 500 seats

The Palace is considered to hold ice hockey and figure skating international competitions. Moreover, large and small arenas are transformers that allow holding competitions in different kinds of sports, such as: basketball, boxing, combat sport, tennis, gymnastics etc. Apart from sporting events, organization of concerts and performance shows can be provided.

The Ice Palace is the part of “Park of Legends” — the largest sporting cluster, which is implemented on the territory of a former “ZIL” industry zone.

For the security of visitors the Palace is equipped with inspection complex which includes 7 mobile inspection halls and 3 checkrooms. Inspection halls are intended to control the visitors before they enter the sporting arena. They allow to detect metal or metal-bearing items, firearms, cold steel arms and explosives hidden under outwear or in hand-luggage.

Every inspection hall includes 3 gateway metal detectors. For detailed inspection of hand-luggage X-Ray TV unit is used. Checkrooms are intended to store oversized visitors` items.

The unique configuration of the inspection halls is chosen on the assumption of providing inspection and needed visitors` throughput.
